Among the findings:

35% of the world population uses the internet.

26% of the world population is active on social media channels.

There are 6.57 billion (with a B) mobile subscribers in the world. (93% market penetration.)

The two highest regions for internet penetration are North America and Europe (81% and 78% respectively).

The top 3 social platforms in the world based on number of users are Facebook, QQ and Qzone.
